What the hell is a flying green song-rabbit?!
Grongbit (GReen sONG rabBIT) is the result of our nicknames combined. "Our" meaning the three founding authors. The flying comes from our guest-turned-permanent blogger, Butterfly Coffin.
And yes, rabbits can too fly, sing and be green.

Sydney Nomz Part 3
Hello gaiz, I'm back on this day again to upload more photos of eating and getting fat! Don't blame me if there is a sudden influx of weight.
It's your fault. Stop eating >:
The Monday right after hanging out with Midori, which involved pigging out for lunch and dessert before walking down to Darling Harbour and gambling at Star City. We applied for a membership along with the free $10 worth of credit but M had some problems signing up because apparently her name was already in the database. Either someone had used her name ot it's the other girl who is also in the same grade with the same Chinese name and surname.
By then I think I was having a fight with N and the atmosphere was tense. He was pissed that I would treat him like shit just because I was angry. What, am I supposed to be nice and stuff? T_T
Anywho, we browsed the casino wondering what we could spend our free $10 on and decided to sit at the pokies haha. Mr. D was brave enough to gamble first and because I wasn't in a good mood at all and just wanted to get out of there, to be completely honest.
After awhile I figured it looked fun so played a bit myself.
Mr. D won something like $50 worht of coins T_T
I got about $11, so I got back the free amount in cash at least. Awesome.
Midori also didn't do so well lol.
Then N wanted to try his hand at the poker tables, but minimum buy in was $100 and he needed to borrow that money from me. I was already annoyed at him, now he wants to gamble that much money in one go even though I am pretty against gambling (and getting wasted, smoking and doing drugs, but that's another story). I couldn't even stick around to see if he'll lose it all because I got shooed away by the security guard so I hung out with M and D like a single loser and D was kind enough to treat me to a drink with his free money (FIFTY BUCKS!!!).
I did appreciate the sensitivity, and I almost forgave him for that time at the Jenkeviad(?) Thai dinner.
I felt like a single woman drowning her sorrows away in alcohol and gambling T_T
Tempted to go hit on the guys at the other table T_T
Btw no pics in the casino because they don't allow cameras and they might kick me out.
The drink was alcoholic and it didn't help that I was pissed off and can't take my alcohol well. I'm pretty sure I ordered something with vodka in it. N lost everything and kept talking about being beaten by a chick he thought was bluffing and how his cards were good, matter-of-fact. Frankly, I didn't give a damn I'm still angry at you and now you lost my money T_T
I'm doing T_T a lot...
I got paid back in American dollars later yays.
So while I was angry and tipsy and hot from the alcohol everyone had to drag me kicking and screaming and I wasn't feeling so good. I did notice how sparkly the footpath was, I never really noticed it until that night...
I had to eat something greasy and was reeeeeeally in the mood for KFC, especially when we were close and I could SMELL it. Ooohhh man, greasy chicken for my tum-tum. N forced me to eat something and recommended I retire since I wasn't in any shape to do anything so M and D left us and I got dragged home.
And watched Masterchef!
I should stop about my personal life, this is supposed to be a post about food.
The next day...
We travelled to Cabramatta to have yumcha at The Iron Chef, is that what it was called? Mr. N had never had yumcha before and this was a chance to meet my friends again and experience Cantonese culture and food. This was also Maria's opportunity to feed him chicken feet.
N also tried sugar cane juice, fresh from the machine, and ate a pork roll complete with delicious pate and traditional mayonnaise (beaten eggs and oil) nom nom. Then we went bowling at Fairfield. He totally stuffed the first game but when I told him to use a lighter ball for better aim he bowled the highest game out of all my friends, even my brother T_T
Porkie even wanted to keep the scoresheets to brag about N's score.
Orz.
It was the afternoon and by the time we got back to the city it would be dinner time so I decided to take him to the Mexican place for dinner. I figured he would want some familiar food after a day of experimenting. Chicken feet fong jiao!
Ohoh he really likes prawn dumplings har gao, even though he dislikes seafood :D
For dinner we went to Flying Fajita Sisters (N: It's pronounced fah-hee-tah, babe) by getting off at Central and walking a LONG LONG way along Broadway before turning into the street.
Upon entering I found it to be a very cosy, quaint little restaurant.
With -holy crap- prices.
Really cute menus though!
N's favourite beer Dos Equis, which he could only find here. Have to admit that it's a pretty alright beer. I had a Midori (lol) and lime margarita with salted rim, but I should have gone for the sugared rim.
Beef fajitas for two! It looks really Asian! Beef is cooked on a hot plate like Asian food, except you wrap it up in warm tortillas and put all those toppings in. There's cheese (N: The wrong cheese!), unsalted black beans, guacamole (not the proper way unfortunately), chili peppers, sour cream, a sweet and tangy salsa and pineapple along with a side of salad.
It looks small, but very satisfying and delicious. I would only come here to indulge because I am a poor uni student but definitely will come here often if 1) I can catch a bus down here, or 2) I has moneyz.
This is good dosh.
Lets come here sometime for my birthday or something :D
That's Flying Fajita Sisters, near Broadway but not quite at Glebe. Quite some walk down from UTS. Google it!
I'm already red from the margarita, and I barely finished it too since it was so big and sour.
This was our trip to Taronga Zoo and quite possibly the first time N has been on a ferry!
Ah, good skin day and creepy tongue guy in background.
YES I saw the baby elephant!! I heard about it on the news the week before but didn't realise it was out and about!
So adorable, there were so many meerkats standing up and sniffing! I was lucky to get photos because as I went to leave they ALL ran back into and hid.
The rainbow lorikeet was sharing the apple with the red tiger! At least I think it was the red tiger o_O
The seal in the underground display. It was so graceful and friendly!
I love otters. They are one of my favourite animals. I was happy when Hermione Granger's Patronus was an otter. We actually walked past the otter lake and I was just going to skip it because then we would have to walk all the way back and we still had a lot more to see. N however insisted that I wanted to see otters and that he wasn't going to take no or laziness as an answer and found every opportunity to steer me back.
In the end I did see otters but they were soooo speedy! I could barely take a decent photo :(
N was glad to see me happy about the otters. THEY LOOK SO CUTE, LIKE FREYA BUT SLIMMER!
Saw the sun set on our ride back to Circular Quay.
That night we wandered the streets and ended up on George to have dinner at Mid Town Cafe Restaurant, a fairly new little cafe next to KFC and Greater Union that serves meals too. It looked extremely tiny from the outside, even if the decorations and shop front were attractive, but I jsut never found an opportunity to enter until now. Trying new things, y'know =p
Two lemon lime bitters.
Veal with a spicy tomato sauce covered in melted cheese and parsley and instant mash potato, which was a let down because I could tell it was instant stuff but I didn't expect much for the price.
Chicken with a red herb sauce, grilled vegetables and mash. According to N mine was better, probably because he likes spice.
I would say that the food was pretty good, especially if you take into account the prices of these meals which is very easy on the wallet. By then I was starting to run out of funds so this was a good choice!
Alright I suppose there is going to be a part 4 since this is already huuuuuge. Have fun loading the pictures, aren't you glad I resized them and made them small =p
Tune in for the next post which I will do in a minute. A trip to Bondi Beach, Manly Beach and more food, of course.

Eating Like a Tourist in Sydney Part 2
AHAHAHAHAHA the second part to the original post is so delayed man, but Midori is complaining about how I don't blog as soon as the event happens and I take forever so now I'll finish it off, fine T_T
I've been typing the whole day man. My hands are all jittery from the effort, and now I have to upload pictures too!
Alright so I left off on the first Saturday the day before we went out with M and Mr. D who I shall now call Mr. Dipshit.
I'm kidding.
So on Sunday we were going to meet at Circular Quay station to go and eat at Lowenbrau Keller which is famous for it's Bavarian food and frequently mentioned in Chocolatesuze.
You'll have seen all the images on M's post already but meh, anyway.
The former couple took ages to arrive, or maybe we were early, so N said hey look, lets go into this mysterious but beautifully historic-looking building in the middle of Circular Quay so I said okay o_O
This is actually a mini model of the CBD. It was cool o_O
Then the others arrived and we went to eat, by then I was freaking starving because we came straight from the hotel and didn't really have breakfast, so pork knuckle was going to be our breakfast!
This is a lame Midori who did not try a bier, but had a glass of water instead. N00b!
Pork knucle with mash and sauerkrat, nom nom. That layer of crackle was just so crunchy and hard, almost too hard. And very salty. Mmmm, would balance nicely with the biers.
This is a brezel. It is a Bavarian pretzel. Wasn't that special, just a crusty bread.
More nice noms. Uh, this was some sort of bread dipped in some sort of gravy. My memory fails me at this moment.
Midori excited about the pork knuckle!
End result of 4 very hungry people.
The music inside was really loud because there was a Bavarian band playing, complete with traditional outfits! This guy was playing the trombone. It was very amusing, especially when the drunk Asian chick started dancing.
Hungry hungry.
Guess where we went next?
For dessert!!!
*drool*
No wonder we're both fat.
I'm gonna keep the commentary to a minimum now because the photos pretty much tell you what went on during the day.
American coins, oohz.
Guylian Cafe has a really nice view of the Opera House, but only if you sit upstairs.
I'm pretty sure this was a coffee with whipped cream, but I must warn you not to drink coffee from Guylian because it's bitter as hell. You know that bitter but also SOUR aftertaste in your mouth from some coffees? Yeah. The coffee is really gross there if you have a refined coffee palate et moi (I prefer to drink only La Vazza and even Illy is alright to me). Ohohoho *snob*.
Needless to say, Starbucks is blasphemous to coffee culture.
Berry creme brulee with what looks like a pistacio biscotti, because I have never had creme brulee before. This was also disappointing because the creme brulee was NOT smooth. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but creme brulee is supposed to be similar to creme caramel and it should be SMOOTH. This was lumpy, and tasted like egg, not egg CUSTARD. Very disappointed, but the toffee was nice. This was something like $14?
This was Midori's, a chocolate lava cake of some sort? She has raved about it on her post.
This is already heaps of photos, so there will be a part 3 and possibly 4 too hehehe.

Ask me a question
I still remember how you guys like to say I'm not open enough to you all.
And maybe it's true that I'd rather keep all important things to myself, I'm an introvert y'know, despite a rather social one.
But that's ok, the playful me has also learnt to accept the serious me, so ask me something and I promise I'll try to answer honestly =3
PS: I know what you guys like to ask, but let's just say that you won't get anywhere asking about boys.
It just doesn't work orz

Ten Thousand Chains + Mango Gelato + Cheap Ebay= <3
Serena post something T_T
You haven't finished posting Mr N's trip's photos or when we went out last week!
I have nothing to post about cuz my life is boring T_T
I've been drinking/eating this for the past week or so every 2nd day practically. It's ground beef and tomato. My mum puts this with a tablespoon of water in a little ceramic pot then into the pressure cooker cuz our other bigger ceramic pot broke and add some water in the pressure cooker. Then it's cooked for hours until all the juices come out to make the soup. It's really good barely any need for salt and what not. Apparently good for my iron levels cuz I now don't have enough haemoglobin circulating so am now anaemic (well 3 months ago). Gonna go doctors in 2hours to collect my blood test results to check again and to get my blood glucose test results back. I hope my iron is up cuz the pills are giving me stomach aches T_T.
We recently got someone to do this to the backyard:
Now we can leave the table tennis table outside and stuff. Dad goes he wants to revamp the garden and put flowers instead of vegetables but he said that a week ago.....
My dad's favourite ritual now is sitting outside on a chair looking at the garden while reading the paper and drinking tea or lying in the hammock and reading the paper on the weekends.
Ah tis life.
I have also been lazying around on the couch with my mum and my bro's blanket watching Chinese "documentaries" about how this little boy started cooking and preparing food and doing housework when he was 6 cuz his grandma was sick and he had to take care of her.
Or about how this girl got tiny little springs inserted into 32 parts of her body cuz the village doctor said that will help her epilepsy.
Also been eating this:
Mmmm mano gelato..... so good with a chopped banana as well. Rice pudding with caramel is good too....
I have this new thing for dairy food.
Oh I've found a recent love for sporting lots of jewellery and heavy machinery around my neck.
Ebay goodies come to mama.
lol behold:
Aren't they so pretty in a tangled mess?
Last night/this morning (cuz I had to put another coat on cuz when I slept it dented the nail colour!) I've been painting my nails this mixed colour. Two of the nail colours in my Sheer set of OPIs are quite similar so I added a dash of Italian Love Affair and voila perfect light pink colour:
I am rather perturbed that I still say "my boyfriend broke up with me" instead of "my ex-boyfriend broke up with me." And felt irked when I saw him sitting with some girl on a bench.... just a tiny bit irked.
Had a lot of fun with Jie on Wednesday cuz minglez ditched us to earn some more moolah. We went to eat Thai at um.. shit forgot the name of the place and I didn't bring my camera. It's near Chinatown. Food was good and cheap. Only cost us about $15 each for a main, dessert and a massive drink.
I had something that looked like hainan chicken rice and Jie had this chilli chicken rice with an egg. We shared a plate of coconut ball thingos... They were quite salty at first but I rather enjoyed them later on. The place was full packed and like a 4m line developed by the time we finished eating.
Later we walked to Townhall cuz Jie wanted to try the new Blossom perfume from DKNY. We went and got a bunch of perfume sniffy cards and this lady said she really liked my shoes =)
Later we went shopping a bit mainly just looking around. We went looking for the highest heels we could find to compare but the highest pair wasn't in our size and Jie refused to try on shoes cuz she goes she has stinky feet cuz her shoes were dirty XD.
We also went by Alannah Hill and Fleur Wood and some others but didn't go in cuz we looked poor lol. Then we assaulted this mannequin's wig by feeling it cuz the mannequin had such good hair!
I am so bored recently I can fall asleep within 10min on the train... I even sleep in one of my tutorials lol.
Also kinda got in trouble with the 2nd year coordinator of nutrition cuz I was sending audio files around to everyone of the lectures I recorded and it was apparently illegal due to copyright and various other "personal reasons." Bummer. Good deed gone.
Ah spring how you came by so quickly with your gentle warmth on my semi exposed back and then quickly reminded me that spring is about the continuous rain....
Time to really figure out that Korean site and buy my combat boots to fight this weather...
Farewell my lovelies.
Back to studying =(

Online gift-shopping
So Father's Day is coming up and I have no idea what to get my daddy.
...
No, not that one. I mean the one who impregnated my mum somehow when she was still on the pill. o__O
ANYWAY!
Should I trust Deals Direct and buy a GPS thingo from them? I'm so not bothered to go shopping... T_T
I was never good at writing anything long. If you've read my EE2 major work, you'd understand what I mean. I mean, WHAT WAS I THINKING?! Everything was so choppity choppity CHOP CHOP CHOP!
This Christmas, I'm asking Santa for a sandbox so I can draw circles and build castles in it and such.
I also want a Ceiling Cat to watch me fap.
Well not really, because that'd be kinda creepy and oh so wrong.
Not that there's anything wrong in consensual exhibitionism, but that's not really my cup o' tea. What's wrong about Ceiling Cat is that it is non-human. Did you know that the local elders of a village in southern Sudan ordered a man to marry his goat because he was caught having adult relations with it? Soon afterwards, the goat had a kid. No, not a sad abominable human-goat shadow of a Minotaur, but a goat kid. The goat died several months later from choking. No, not choking on her husband, but on a plastic bag. True story.
Oh, and if you were wondering how I knew about that, I'm not some sick fuck who searches the net for animal porn.
I should really get back to studying.
I hate uni.
So, back to the original topic, GPS from Deals Direct. Yay or nay?
THIS WEEK'S PONDERMENT: Can exhibitionism ever be consensual? If so, provide examples.

Multiple Choice
So I'm back.
Hmm here's a few things I haven't posted.
Went to opera house a week or so ago for my sister's choir performance as part of Pulse (western Sydney something or another).
Rushed to Opera house after uni. Photo taken during the interval for the back view but it didn't show up with flash -.- and my mum cut off my shoes T_T.
I wanted to wear a pretty dress but couldn't find anything... so instead wore this full floral skirt... my mum accuses me of trying to wear really bright colours now cuz I know I can't wear them when I'm old....
Opera house so pretty inside!! My sister's one of those purple dots in the back.
She's super tired afterwards.
Wednesday after I finished my group assignment or rather decided to abandon it for "important reasons" went to meet up with Jie and minglez for some lindt cafe lunch. They went to Little Snail for lunch and had like snails, veal, dessert.... 3 course meals... I didn't go cuz well nothing there for me to eat cuz I've turned vegetarian and am detoxing >.>
Dark iced chocolate.
My lava cake. This is prob the most expensive cake I've ever had considering it's portions.... $15 for a small scoop of icecream... miniscle strawberry and 2 sticks of chocolate and a lava cake with hot chocolate sauce on it that isn't that much bigger than the scoop of ice cream (looks bigger here due to perspective). But let me tell you this is divine. You can still see the ground up vanilla beans in the icecream and the cake was total melt in the mouth... YUM.
With the dark iced chocolate it was too sweet to have altogether but the drinks were heaps better than Guylian!
Thursday went with minglez to Myer and shopped for my mum's birthday present. Minglez had the brilliant idea of hand cream so we ended up buying this:
It feels really nice on! It's not too oily or sticky like the other creams we tried.
We went to typical asian restaurant again for dinner with family: Prince in parra.
Peking Duck. I wanted duck, dad ordered peking.. It was alright, we had half a duck and all they could cut off was 6 pieces of chicken/skin.....
2nd half of peking duck dish. Since duck was already cooked having it cooked again in stir fry made the meat a bit tough.
Small abalones each. I'm not a fan of these. They taste good but I reckon abalone soup brings out the taste of abalone the best.
Stir fry sea cucumber with seafood bit. This was really nice. The bit attached to the sea cucumber was this prawn and fish ball I think. Those seafood thingo. It was just the right chilliness with really crisp snow peas.
Sweet and sour pork for the kids. It was nicely cooked but I hate how meat like this you can bite into it and not realise a mouthful of fat came with it cuz you can't tell with all the sauce -.-
We didn't have that much to eat that night so we ended the night finishing almost all the dishes and had dessert.
Also had the obligatory red bean soup and oranges that I didn't take a photo of.
The waiter, who knows us and freaken tries to rip us of all the time and is just looking for big tips cuz my dad is loose with his money -.-, asked if I was my dad's niece. My mum said "doesn't she look like him?" and he said I was too pretty to be my dad's daughter. Awwwww how nice XD.
Then my mum said, the other day this family friend of ours saw my dad and me and didn't say hi until my dad approached her cuz she was "pretending not to see the lady my dad was being seen with." LOL. She thought I was a young mistress my dad was having an affair with XDDD WTFFFFF.
Went to auburn to buy this cake and saw Serena there =).
Chestnut cake and my mum turns 42 =(.
Happy birthday mummy! I'm sorry I pulled out 13 white hairs in one night and prob sent you crying at night about old age cuz my fears have got to be genetically related right?
I just realised we all were wearing stripes XD
Weee my legs look longer =)
So these few days I've been quite cheery despite what others may feel is sad news. I have come up with a list of possible reasons for this to either justify/explain my feelings and now present to everyone this multiple choice question which you all must answer!
Midori does not feel as sad as she should this week although D and I are no more because:
a) I knew it was gonna end sooner or later from the very beginning and so it wasn't that painful as I had not anticipated it would last this long in the first place.
b) I had a suspicion this would happen since a month or so ago and hence had built up some emotional protection for myself and went over in my head what it would feel like before.
c) I haven't seen him since and hence there is still every possibility I could break down then. I haven't been out really and walked along the same roads, places and had those emotional flashbacks. I haven't packed everything he's ever given me into a corner so did not need to go reliving each memory as they went into that corner. And hence having not rethought through the good times we've had i am not capable of feeling sadness.
d) The drifting happened slowly but surely so was not one massive blow hence not hit hard.
e) Actually super sad inside but unable/don't want to show it and hence have convinced myself I am not actually sad at all
f) Didn't like him as much as I suspected and hence not fazed by breakup.
g) Cried it all out in one go, no more tears to cry anyway so why bother.
h) I know why it happened, I got all the explanations I need and hence I am at peace as there is nothing I still have unanswered.
i) The shock was too much I don't know how to deal or how to feel and hence feel no sadness.
j) I am emotionless I feel no pain.
Hmm now to have at least 10 readers to poll on which they think is true cuz I can't figure it out!
So a-j which will it be?

Rainbow On the Street
Walking home from uni after only one tutorial, I meandered my way while re-reading Artemis Fowl 4 behind this limping old man. I briskly walked past him to get home, only to realise that the door has been locked from the inside. Sighing once again, I jump over my balcony and open the door to my room to be greeted by my curious cat waiting for an opportunity to poof outside and run off again to play in the sun.
A normal afternoon.
Oh and a peacock that escaped from the Japanese Gardens was walking down the footpath on the other side of my house before turning into my neighbours front lawn.
It was nestled on the grass with its tail feathers sprawled around it.
I followed it up the street.
